Mens Traditional Irish Aran Fisherman Knit Wool Sweater. This wool sweater is handcrafted in 100% Irish Merino Wool. Available in Charcoal & the Aran traditional natural colour.
I love the charcoal I have to say and Colin Farrell wearing it during the movie "The Banshees of Inisherin" has really brought a fresh focus on the Aran sweaters.
Actors such as Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Steve McQueen all wore Aran cardigans & sweaters duirng the 1950s & 60s. Chris Evans also wore the traditioal chunky Aran during the film "Knives Out" which also resulted in interest in the Aran sweater.
This Irish Aran sweater encompasses the honeycomb stitch which is said to be a lucky stitch, signifying abundance and in the case of fishermen a lucky good catch.

How to Care for your knitwear:
- Hand wash soaking for a minimum of 5-10 minutes.
- Rinse and to get rid of the of the excess water we recommend rolling your knitwear in a clean towel and gently press which will get rid of the excess water.
- Gently pull to shape and dry flat.
- We recommend storing your wool knits folded in a drawer or shelf. Hanging your knitwear can cause the shape and fit to distort.
